PTI September 2013 Blog Hop ~ 2nd Card

Here's my second card for PTI's Blog Hop where the challenge was to create a wreath on a festive card front. Before running my Vintage Cream cardstock through my Big Shot, I inked the woodgrain impression plate using PTI's kraft ink and cut the piece in fourths. These were attached using foam tape to add dimension, and so was my wreath. This was created using one of the Limitless Layers 1-3/4" Circle dies, and the circle die from Hello Sunshine Collection for the wreath's center.

Supplies: (all PTI unless noted)
Cardstock: Vintage Cream & SU Really Rust
Ink: Kraft
Dies: Limitless Layers 1-3/4" Circles, Hello Sunshine & Woodgrain Impression Plate
Other: Gold cord for bow, glitter & foam tape

PTI September 2013 Blog Hop ~ 1st Card

Well, here I am rushing before the deadline. The challenge for PTI's blog hop was to create a card with a wreath of any kind on a festive card front. Here's my first card:

The Mehndi Medallion and sentiment were stamped using Kraft & Cherry Cobbler inks, but it's hard to see in this photo. After die cutting the center circle from the medallion, I backed the white cardstock with burgundy glittered cardstock from Joann's. The center circle of the wreath was finished off with a rhinestone.

Supplies: (all PTI unless noted)
Cardstock: White & burgundy glittered (Joann)
Ink: Kraft & SU Cherry Cobbler
Stamps: Mehndi Medallion & Iconic Images
Dies: Nesties Circle & punch
Other: Sponge for edging & rhinestone
