I love the colors but the design was a bit intimidating. Just had to try the challenge though. Being in desperate need of sympathy cards, I went with the card below. The colors might be a bit bold for comfort, but I think the layered butterfly helps soften it some. At least I'm convinced.

Cardstock: Stamper's Rustic Cream
Ink: Tropical Teal and Orange Zest
Stamps: Brushed Off and Keep It Simple: Sympathy
Dies: Life Is Beautiful
Other: Clear Vellum, Micro Glue Dots and Orange Enamel Dot (stash)

I was wishing I had the Brushed Off set when I saw the inspiration & you've used it beautifully!

ReplyDeleteYou have no idea how hard I tried to use Brushed Off on this challenge & nothing came together for me. Love the way the paint lines trail off toward the butterfly & I think the colors & design work well for a sympathy card!
