Papertrey November Blog Hop Challenge

Here we are again with a beautiful image showcasing bright and cheery colors for this month's Papertrey's November Blog Hop Challenge. Look at the striking decor:

This is certainly getting me in the mood to decorate our home, but trust me…it won't look anything like this. A gal can wish though, right? Of course I'm getting close to the deadline so I better get my card posted. Yay for completing another Christmas card!

Hoping I can stay awake to check out the blog post entries and comment. Thanks for stopping by, and I really do appreciate your comments.

Create Along With Us: November 2016

Since this past week was Papertrey Ink's November Release, we're invited to create along with the Design Team. Details can be found here. There was so much inspiration once again it's a challenge for me to pick just one. Hence, I used bits and pieces from Melissa's  and Heather's cards below for a fun birthday card.

As usual, I had to work with the stamp sets and dies I own so here's what I created.

Thanks for stopping by, and I really do appreciate your comments.

PTI MIM #267: Assembly Line Card-Making

This week I'm playing along with Laurie and Papertrey Ink's Make It Monday, where she challenged us to create cards assembly-line style. They didn't have to be for Christmas, but what better time to bang out several at one time. Thanks, Laurie, now I've got my Christmas card designed for this year. Here it is:

The image below shows supplies I used and multiples of each piece I needed stamped or die-cut to create six cards of the same design and color scheme. After running Scarlet Jewel card stock through my Big Shot with the MFT Stitched Rectangle Dies, each was attached to a white card base. Sweet Blush was cut using Edgers #3, and the sentiment was stamped in Scarlet Jewel ink. Silver glitter paper was cut to size and adhered to the top and bottom edges. The white wreath die-cut was stamped in Delicata Silvery Shimmer ink with the berry sprigs in Scarlet Jewel. The Sweet Blush ribbon was also stamped using Scarlet Jewel. A dab of silver glitter glue was added to the bow's center.

My first prototype I decided to pop up the ribbon, but on the other five I popped up the wreath instead. Below you can see my set of six, and now I need to make a whole lot more.

Thanks for stopping by, and I really do appreciate your comments.

PTI MIM #266: That's A Wrap

Lexi Daly hosted this past week's Papertrey Ink Make It Monday, and her video can also be seen here on Nichole's blog. Her challenge was to create our own wrapping paper using images and colors of our choice. She also provided a download for wrapping paper guidelines, which was very helpful. With her sample guidelines, I was able to stamp diagonally like she did on HP multipurpose paper. Because I waited till the last minute (almost) to create this with no gift box to wrap, I decided to photograph the wrapping paper and gift tag anyway. Here's what I created, and I apologize for the poor photo quality.

Thanks for stopping by, and I really do appreciate your comments. I apologize for being way behind in blog commenting and hope to catch up this week.
