Critter Card for Melissa's Fab Friday PTI Challenge

Since I don’t really have many critters in my stamping stash, I went with my old standby set In The Meadow. Love this adorable pair of deer with that “deer in the headlights” look as they wander through the snowy woods. The birds aren’t really cardinals but they can still be red. You can find the Papertrey Ink challenge information here.

Warm Wishes Card for PTI Challenge

Thank goodness for these wonderful challenges that motivate me to get more Christmas/Holiday cards made. This time Shauna from Foiled Fox shared her Vintage Lantern card here. Here’s my warm wishes to all who read this!

Papertrey Ink Melissa's Fab Friday

Thank goodness for challenges that inspire me to create, especially this time of year. Melissa's Fab Friday Challenge can be seen here. She is the queen of layers and uses vellum so beautifully. The main requirement was to create a holiday card, and mine uses all PTI products.

Papertrey Ink Folky Holiday

Inspired by Shauna I made another Christmas card for the Folky Holiday Challenge at Papertrey Ink. Decided to stretch my comfort zone a bit by trying a different design. It's not my favorite, but it does have the folk art look to it and uses all PTI products. I used a Distress Oxide ink for the ink blending.

Papertrey Ink Holiday Greeting Card Challenge

One way to get started making Christmas cards is to participate in challenges because I can’t procrastinate. Papertrey Ink has a challenge here to make a holiday greeting card using their products. Here’s my entry.

Papertrey Ink Challenge Leaves for Fall

This week’s challenge at Papertrey Ink is to create our own version of Shauna's beautiful cards.

Since I was in need of a masculine birthday card, I thought this would be a great starting point. Shauna of Foiled Fox inspired me to participate in the challenge. All products used are Papertrey Ink.

ITP and MFT Challenges

I’m participating in two separate challenges. One is the Ink To Paper Project Reach Out Birthday and the other is the MFT Color Challenge. I really need to replenish birthday cards anyway so this was a win-win for me. Rarely do I make square cards but today I just felt like it.

Without further ado, here’s my card. My sentiment is stamped using PTI Pinefeather ink for my second shade of green.

Praying for the health and safety of everyone, especially during these very challenging and difficult months. This past weekend was totally uncalled for with all the looting, violence and destruction.
Our beautiful  country needs to regroup NOW!

ITP Project Reach Out: Gratitude

Perfect timing with the theme of Gratitude for the latest Project Reach Out at Ink To Paper. I am truly grateful for so many people and things and always have been. Obviously, we all have more "free" time to think about life in general, and it's a huge wakeup call for many. On with my card showing appreciation to a wonderful person!

During this Coronavirus Pandemic, stay safe, stay healthy and wash your hands!

ITP Project: Reach Out: Sending Love

So, I needed a birthday card for my dear sister so thought this would coordinate well with the Sending Love theme for the challenge at Ink To Paper's Project Reach Out. Love it when a good challenge motivates me! Here’s my card.

It had to be bright and cheery since we could all use a little lift during this pandemic. Stay safe everyone!

ITP Project: Reach Out : Missing You

The theme this time is Missing You, and so appropriate during this Coronavirus Pandemic. I’ve got several people to send this to expressing how I feel. The challenge details can be found here. Let’s get to it as I’m running late (and photo shows it)!

A Sixth Card for Encouragement for Seniors

Ellen Hutson has posted a challenge on her blog. It's taking me longer to get these cards posted on her blog than it took me to create them. For some reason, my iPhone photos are not syncing to my iPad or my Mac. I've tried Photos and Google Photos both, plus Flickr.

Cookies were disabled on the blog post so had to find a work-around for that.

I've now posted them on Instagram but could only use one phone per link. I had all six cards on my original blog post but can't post multiple cards from one link. Now I'm making separate blog posts for the other four cards I made.

Encouragement Cards for Seniors

Ellen Hutson posted a challenge on her blog to make cards for seniors who are in Nursing homes. Unfortunately, they can’t have visitors during these trying times of the Coronavirus. Since Governor Inslee (he's not really a snake) issued a stay-at-home mandate, I’ve got time to create and spread joy to others. So far, I’ve got six cards done using products sold by Ellen in Issaquah, WA. Praying for all of us that we can avoid this nasty virus and for all the first responders and medical professionals who don’t have the luxury of staying home.
