PTI Make It Monday #119: Flagged Borders

You guessed it ~ it's Sunday night and here I am with another PTI Make It Monday which challenges us to create a project utilizing our take on the challenge. Thought I would kill two birds with one stone by designing a special graduation card incorporating a flagged border as demonstrated by our illustrious Dawn McVey. Of course, I had to use the school colors, which are navy and gold.

Supplies: (all PTI unless noted)
Cardstock: SU Night of Navy and White
Ink: SU Night of Navy and VersaMark
Stamps: Mat Stack #1, For The Graduate, Tag Its #4, Heart-2-Heart #5, Background Basics: Super Stripes
Dies: Mat Stack #1, Limitless Layers 1-3/4" Circles, Block Alphabet
Other: Zing Metallic Gold Embossing Powder, gold sequins (Joann) and SU Dimensionals

PTI Make It Monday #118: Photo Postcards (Take #2)

Since I had so much fun with the first one, I decided to try another photo postcard for PTI's Make It Monday creating custom photocards by stamping on photo paper. Perhaps it's because I used Epson Glossy Photo Paper, but my Staz-On Black ink would not adhere to the photo paper. My second attempt worked using Memento Tuxedo Black for my sentiments on both postcards, but I had to very carefully pull my stamp press from the photo with hopes of not destroying it. Once again I was reminded that patience is a virtue. And since I love rainbows, I couldn't resist using the photo below with the ideal sentiment, "Like A Rainbow You Color My World." Hope you agree!

Supplies:
Cardstock: White
Ink: PTI Hawaiian Shores & Memento Tuxedo Black
Stamps: PTI Beautiful Butterflies & PTI Mat Stack #1 Collection

PTI Make It Monday #118: Photo Postcards

Well, here it is Sunday night again, and I'm just getting around to tackling Ashley Newell's technique of creating our own custom postcards by stamping on photo paper. Thinking this couldn't be too difficult because Ashley made it look so easy in her video tutorial, I procrastinated finding appropriate photos to print for PTI's MIM #118: Photo Postcards challenge. This postcard fits the category of cool (temperatare wise), so I'm a bit ahead of the season. Check this out:
