PTI MIM #296: Small Images on Repeat

So, let's start by saying perhaps I should have used the smaller snowflake, but I thought it was really too small for the design I had in mind. My card below is for Papertrey Ink's Make It Monday with Lexi. She challenged us to use small stamp images and repeat them. I just had to use my new Holographic Embossing Powder on my snowflakes but didn't photograph well.

I'm eager to try this technique again soon when I get my SAF mess cleaned up in my stamp room and get new products organized in folders, etc. My brain might work beetter then. : ) Had another busy week but hope to get back to blog hopping and commenting soon.

Thanks for stopping by, and I really do appreciate your comments.

PTI Blog Hop Challenge May 2017

Not very often do I create my card early for the Blog Hop, but we'll be on vacation on the 25th so I'm ahead of the challenge. Nichole always comes up with such beautiful images to use as inspiration whether it's the design or the colors. This month is no exceeption. You can read more details here

PTI MIM #211: Using Gelatos With Stamps

Melissa Phillips showed us how to use Gelatos with our stamps in this week's Make It Monday challenge at Papertrey Ink. Since I only have four Gelatos, I was a bit limited with the ink colors I could use. Here's what I created on Sunday evening (surprise, surprise).

To create my Bitty Bouquet, I first die-cut a circle using Nestabilities Large Standard Circles from Stamper's Select White Card Stock. After stamping everything and adding my gelatos, I attached it to my Berry Sorbet card base. Cutting another circle using Spring Rain and two dies (1/4" difference in diameter) to get just the ring, I glued that to my SS White stitched rectangle which was then adhered to the card base using SU Dimensionals. For even more dimension, I raised up my Winter Wisteria Bountiful Banner die-cut stamped in Tropical Teal ink curving the sentiment up a bit. I think I need more Gelatos so I can try this technique again.

Hope everyone had a Happy Mother's Day! Sorry I haven't perused blogs yet and commented.
