Ink To Paper Laurie's Fabulous Favorites

Laurie's Fabulous Favorites is to recreate or CASE a project that was used during release week.

Since I need a birthday card for my DH and masculine cards are more challenging, I was thrilled to see these cards by Michelle.

I used a similar color scheme and graphic-style design but used totally different stamps and dies. It was a fun one to create, and now I have pieces leftover to make two more cards. Here's my version.

Thank you for stopping by, and I really do appreciate your comments!

Supplies: (all PTI unless noted):
Cardstock: SU Going Gray, Simply Chartreuse, Enchanted Evening and Stamper's Select White
Ink: Enchanted Evening and VersaMark
Stamps: Star Prints, Harvest Berries and Penned Elegance
Dies: Triangle Trio, MFT Stitched Rectangles and MFT Stitched Oval STAX
Other: Nuvo Crystal Drops Morning Dew and Foam Tape

PTI Transformation Tuesday

For the first time, I’m participating in Papertrey Ink's Transformation Tuesday with Lexi. The card I chose to redo was one inspired by Lexi. About the only similarities are a star from Star Prints and a birthday sentiment. I’ve been dying to use this color combination, and will definitely use it again. First, I’ll share my original and then my remake.

Thank you for stopping by, and I really do appreciate your comments!

Cardstock: Stamper's Select White, Enchanted Evening, Green Parakeet+White Basics and a green Parakeet
Ink: Green Parakeet, Enchanted Evening and VersaMark

PTI Create Along With Us Challenge: May 2018

It was release week at Papertrey Ink so that means we create our own version of something that inspired us from the amazing DT. Because I was on vacation last week and then had company, I desperately needed to get back in my stamping room and create. Lexi definitely inspired me with her clean and simple designs so I made one similar to her rainbow hearts for graduation and a second one for a masculine birthday, as shown below.

Supplies: (all PTI unless noted):
Cardstock: Stamper's Select White
Ink: Pure Poppy, Orange Zest, Harvest Gold, New Leaf, Tropical Teal, Enchanted Evening, Royal Velvet and VersaFine Onyx Black

Other: Foam Tape

PTI Make It Monday #124: Dressed Up Envelopes

I know, I know ~ it's Sunday night and here I am again just posting my creation for this week's Make It Monday. Believe it or not, I made this birthday card last night but still needed to make the envelope today. Melissa showed us the steps she took to dress up her envelope, but mine isn't quite so fancy. After all, it's for our godchild in honor of his second birthday.  Since I need to mail it, I wanted to keep the envelope to one layer.

Supplies: (all PTI unless noted)
Cardstock: New Leaf, SU Real Red, White
Ink: SU Green Galore & SU Tempting Turquoise (+ Harvest Gold & SU Real Red for envelope)
Stamps:SU Birthday Whimsy (+ Framed Out #12, Star Prints & Studio Calico Napa Valley  for envelope)
Dies: By The Number & Fabulous Frames
Other: Star patterned paper & foam mounting tape (stash)

PTI Make It Monday #122: Polka Dot Texture with Copic Markers

Believe it or not, right after watching Heather Nichols do her magic using Copics for this week's Make It Monday I started this card but wasn't 100% happy with it. I was certainly hoping I'd find time to create another but realize today that isn't going to happen. Part of the issue is that I don't own any Copics and don't plan to indulge in them any time soon. So, my only other option was to try using my Stampin' Up markers but couldn't get the same results as Heather. Maybe I just need more practice. (wink) Anyway, I attempted to decorate the tree die-cut from PTI's In The Meadow and finished it off with a fussy-cut star from PTI's Star Prints.

Supplies: (all PTI unless noted)
Cardstock: Stamper's Select White, Harvest Gold & SU Sage Shadow
Ink: SU Real Red
Stamps: Signature Christmas & Star Prints
Dies: In The Meadow
Other: Red sequins, SU Markers: Sage Shadow, Brilliant Blue, Real Red, Summer Sun & Forest Foliage, SU Stripes Textured Impressions Embossing Folder
