(Sentiment close up stamped first in Simply Chartreuse
and then Ripe Avocado for Faux Brush Lettering)
Now I see I should have watercolored vertically for a more even flow of leaf colors. Will remember that next time. Sponged the edge using Autumn Rose ink to tie it in with the leaves, adhered to white card base and added the five sequins to finish it off. Will view and comment tonight on what others have created. I'm sure there will be lots of inspiration and cool ideas to try myself. Have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by!

I love the water coloured background, and as for its angle, it goes with the angle of the sentiment, which is very well done, by the way!
That is a great sentiment for the brushed lettering technique. Beautiful card!
Very pretty! That's a great sentiment for this technique. It came out great!
Great card and brush stroke lettering! I think the water coloured background is perfect as it echoes the angle of your pretty sentiment.
Beautiful CAS card Kathy! The background looks terrific and I love the sponged edges.
This is so pretty. I love the water coloring behind your leaf die cut. I am running out of time to try this one myself...
Love that colorful background! Beautiful!
Beautiful card, Kathy--love your color choices!
I love your watercoloring of your leaves. They look great, even if it's not vertical. Great job on the technique, too. It was a hard one to grasp, even using a thinker stamp. Beautiful card!
You did a great job, Kathy, both with the lettering and overall design, and came up with a gorgeous card! Plus I think anyone who used Graceful Greetings for this technique deserves extra credit and maybe even a prize :)
Oh, this is beautiful! Wonderful job with the technique!
Beautiful, Kathy! The faux brush lettering looks fantastic, and I'm so happy you gave it a try! I love how you've done the watercoloring behind the leaf die-cut, too!
