Since it was New Release time at Papertrey Ink, it's time again for another chance to create along with the team. The details can be found on Nichole's blog. The idea is to use any project posted by the designers as inspiration, whether it be colors, design or technique. There are always so many amazing creations it makes it challenging to pick one. I saw lots of rainbows this week and was especially inspired by the card below by Nichole.
It was a busy week and then we had company from Friday until this morning. After they left, I was in a hurry to create a sympathy card for a cousin and his wife, whose mother just passed. We were invited to a family picnic at their house today. This is what I created by coloring with my Zigs on watercolor paper and then die-cutting Paper Clippings: Thinking of You. A little spray adhesive saves lots of times with detailed die-cuts. The background is Limeade Ice sponged on with an Ink Blending Tool, added three black rhinestones and the sentiment white embossed on a black strip of card stock.
Thanks for stopping by, and I really do appreciate your comments.
