A Fifth Card for Encouragement for Seniors

Ellen Hutson has posted a challenge on her blog. It's taking me longer to get these cards posted on her blog than it took me to create them. For some reason, my iPhone photos are not syncing to my iPad or my Mac. I've tried Photos and Google Photos both, plus Flickr.

Cookies were disabled on the blog post so had to find a work-around for that.

I've now posted them on Instagram but could only use one phone per link. I had all six cards on my original blog post but can't post multiple cards from one link. Now I'm making separate blog posts for the other four cards I made.

Encouragement Cards for Seniors

Ellen Hutson posted a challenge on her blog to make cards for seniors who are in Nursing homes. Unfortunately, they can’t have visitors during these trying times of the Coronavirus. Since Governor Inslee (he's not really a snake) issued a stay-at-home mandate, I’ve got time to create and spread joy to others. So far, I’ve got six cards done using products sold by Ellen in Issaquah, WA. Praying for all of us that we can avoid this nasty virus and for all the first responders and medical professionals who don’t have the luxury of staying home.

Ink To Paper The Gift of Packaging- Gift Tags

Thought I’d do something just a little bit different using Tag Sale #4 with Shape Shifters Circle 1 so I did some ink blending using Aqua Mist ink. It’s simple but makes for a cute gift tag for this challenge.

Merry Christmas!

Laurie's Fabulous Favorites: Inlaid Die Cuts

Now that the weather outside has changed, perhaps I'll get more time in my stamping room to create. Thought it would be fun to try Laurie's technique for this week's Fabulous Favorites: Inlaid Die Cuts. Canyon Clay seemed like the perfect color for Fall. Besides, we'll be spending time over Thanksgiving with my sister and family so this card will be appropriate.

Laurie's Fabulous Favorites Using Kraft

Since Summer is gone here in WA State, it's time to get back to crafting a bit and getting some mojo back. Laurie's Fabulous Favorites challenge this week is to use Kraft cardstock in a project so that's exactly what I did.

In May our friend's grandson, an 8-year-old twin brother, was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. He has been undergoing extreme treatments ever since as an outpatient at Seattle Children's Hospital. Things for the most part are going pretty well, but the family of five could use some uplifting. This card will accompany the gift card we bought so they can enjoy a family night out. I just know they will be forever grateful.
