PTI MIM #233: Splattering

Another week, another Papertrey Ink Make It Monday Challenge here. This week we're honored to have Danielle Flanders share a couple ways of adding ink splatters to cards and tags. She makes it look so easy, but I found I didn't really have control of the splatters using a reinker and "flicking" the paintbrush. It definitely adds to the finished project though so I guess I'll keep practicing. Here's my card, and I'm happy to add another Christmas card to my pile.

I seem to have a problem putting away my new Spruce & Sprigs stamps and dies. They really are so versatile, especially for whipping out Christmas cards. I've got several cards to go to reach my goal so I'm cutting this short. Eager to find time to see what others have "splattered."

Supplies: (all PTI unless noted)

Cardstock: Stamper's Select White and Red Glittered (Joann)
Ink: Autumn Rose, New Leaf, Pinfeather and Memento London Fog
Stamps: Spruce & Sprigs
Dies: Spruce & Sprigs, Sketched Shapes, Wet Paint Holiday and MFT Stitched Rectangles
Other: Paintbrush, Blending Tool, SU Forest Foliage Reinker and SU Dimensionals

Your wreath turned out great! And the splattering helps fill in a bit of the background. Very nice!
