PTI MIM #258: Cover Plate Tags

Playing along with this week's Make It Monday at Papertrey Ink. This week it was Laurie's turn to share something new with us by using cover plates to create tags.  My options are pretty limited with only one tag die and one cover plate, but I made it work like she showed us. The trick was to line up the cover plate over the tag so it looked good, and then die-cut it using the tag die. Her video here shows how to accomplish this. Because the tags are so small and the cover plate full card size, I made two different ones.

Below are individual photos of each tag.

Kathy, these are really pretty tags! So nice you were able to get two out of your lovely cover plate.

Kathy, your tags turned out great! I've have to try using the hexagon CP in the future.

The hexagon cover plate is the other one I own & now I see it really would have worked to make a pretty tag! I really love the one with the snow & snowflake!
