PTI Make It Monday #118: Photo Postcards (Take #2)

Since I had so much fun with the first one, I decided to try another photo postcard for PTI's Make It Monday creating custom photocards by stamping on photo paper. Perhaps it's because I used Epson Glossy Photo Paper, but my Staz-On Black ink would not adhere to the photo paper. My second attempt worked using Memento Tuxedo Black for my sentiments on both postcards, but I had to very carefully pull my stamp press from the photo with hopes of not destroying it. Once again I was reminded that patience is a virtue. And since I love rainbows, I couldn't resist using the photo below with the ideal sentiment, "Like A Rainbow You Color My World." Hope you agree!

Supplies:
Cardstock: White
Ink: PTI Hawaiian Shores & Memento Tuxedo Black
Stamps: PTI Beautiful Butterflies & PTI Mat Stack #1 Collection
Other: Photo (Epson Glossy Photo Paper)

Wonderful photo, and perfect for a postcard. I never even got to this MIM--well I guess there is always the year end recap. In response to your question about the challenges--I do have a little system, but it is not very scientific. I keep all my challenge blogs listed together in my reader, and usually go through them all together. I make a list, jotting down each one, and either what the topic is or what idea pops into my head. I usually figure out how I will combine while I am doing that. Rocket Science?

Your post cards are gorgeous! Love the beautiful photos you used. Like Joyce I never even got to that MIM and I try to do them all. Just a busy week so I missed out on a fun project.
I am trying to learn Joyce's system as well! I usually go to her blog and see the challenges . :)
