PTI MIM #146: Angled Backgrounds

Guess what day it is? Of course, it's Sunday evening and Papertrey Ink's Make It Monday deadline is rapidly approaching for another chance to win a $25 PTI gift certificate. Wouldn't that be sweet as my wishlist keeps growing and growing…just like everyone else's. Ashley showed us how to use up scraps of patterned paper or cardstcok to create angled backgrounds. To add a little extra bling, I added glitter to the borders of the die-cut. Since I am in need of sympathy cards, this is what I created.

I'm also entering this in Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge, which is SOMETHING NEW. The Boutique Borders: Sympathy stamp set and die are brand new to me.

Supplies: (all PTI unless noted)
Cardstock: White & SU Tempting Turquoise DSP
Ink: SU Tempting Turquoise
Stamps: Boutique Borders: Sympathy
Dies: Boutique Borders: Sympathy
Other: SU white ribbon & Bahama Blue sequins (Neat & Tangled), Quickie Glue pen & SU dazzling diamonds glitter

I love both your takes on the MIM technique. Great idea to use blue for sympathy--so very soothing.
