Papertrey May 2015 Blog Hop Challenge

It's the 25th of May and time once again for another Blog Hop Challenge here at Papertrey Ink. Nichole always comes up with beautiful photos to inspire us to create, and the one below of scattered wooden blocks is no exception. More ideas ran through my head the past several days, but when it came time to create, I had a new vision.

Blog Hop Inspiration

Stripes, squares, ink splatters, rainbows, watercolors? So many options, so little time (in my personal life right now). As you can see, I went with squares in six different colors all lined up. I really like the results, but the biggest challenge for me sometimes is how and where to place the sentiment. The recipient, however, is not as critical as I am of myself.

Supplies: (all PTI unless noted)

Cardstock: Stamper's Select White and SU Elegant Eggplant
Ink: Royal Velvet, Melon Berry, Harvest Gold, New Leaf, Hawaiian Shores, Raspberry Fizz and VersaMark
Stamps: Square Prints and Keep It Simple: Thinking of You
Dies: Square Prints and Sketched Shapes
Other: SU Dimensionals, SU MElon Mambo Embossing Powder, SU Stripes Embossing Folder and Micro Glue Dots

  1. I find the placement tricky sometimes, too, especially when working with so many colours! Great take on the inspiration photo!
