PTI MIM #274: Pattern Play with Die Cut Silhouettes

Have been trying to cope with this horrible sinus infection rather than playing with paper, stamps and dies. Just couldn't pass up this week's Papertrey Ink Make It Monday though because it's all about using some of my hoarded patterned paper. I actually used five different designs. And besides that, I have some "new to me" PTI pads due to ship any day now hopefully.

Lexi shared some great examples of mixing patterns on her blog and in the video here. My brain just wasn't working properly so with hopes of making it easier on myself I went with balloons, too.
Note to self: Never use foam and Sizzix adhesive sheets on the "Celebrate Today" die. It took me forever, was all tangled up, stuck together, foam stretched and so on…but I went with it anyway.

Thanks for stopping by, and I really do appreciate your comments.

Oh Kathy, you card is so fun! Love your mix of patterns on the balloons~which always say "PARTY" on a card to me!
Thanks so much for commenting on my card~I hadn't checked to see who won this week, but never expected it to be me :-)
Congrats on your win last week too!
