Danielle shared her tips and tricks for stamping a black and white background, cutting off a border or die-cutting the center of the image. What's left of the main image is then colored using something like Copics or Zigs. That colored piece is then popped up and aligned with the strip or placed back in the die-cut opening. You can watch her video
here on Nichole's blog. She showed two great examples: one cut vertically on the left and the other an oval die cut from the center. Here's my take for this week's Make It Monday Challenge at Papertrey Ink.

So pretty, Kathy! I love the pops of your blue/mauve flowers.
Very pretty. Love how you framed that oval.
This is so pretty, Kathy, with its shades of purple. I prefer the look the way you did it with the center highlighted. It appears more finished/intentional that way.
This is gorgeous. It looks so striking where the image goes from b & w to colored.
Beautiful colors for the flowers and I think the oval die cut shape was perfect for these clusters of flowers!
Fabulous, Kathy! I love the die cut shape you used. It looks so stunning!
Neat design! That blue really pops.

So very pretty with those purple colors!
Lovely framed center!
What a sweet card. I love how you used the oval die cut to color the flowers just around the sentiment. Really lovely.
Beautiful card using Danielle's technique. Love the die cut and your lovely flowers, Kathy!
