PTI MIM #256: Spritzed Stamps and CWS Ink Splatters

Melissa got her turn to share a fun "spritzing" technique with us this week for Papertrey Ink's Make It Monday. In her video, she showed us how she inks her stamps, mists them and then stamps on watercolor paper for a watercolor effect. The biggest challenge is choosing stamps that work well with this technique. Not sure I chose the right ones, but I do like my end result because it's different for me (a 4.25" square card). Here you can see for yourself.

  4. I think this turned out beautifully Kathy! Those feathers are just lovely with the softened effects of the water, and absolutely love how you did the background! Love that it's a square card too...every so often you do need to do something just a bit different!! :0)

  6. I too had to go through my stamps to find something that would work for this technique. I think the Doodle Feathers look great. You can see some of the water pooling but you didn't lose the detail.
